đź‘‹ Hey there, Gus here.
Welcome to the digital HQ I've set up to publicly commit to my newest experiment — the AI Adaptability Experiment.
Why did I create this page? Simple. I love to learn, I love to build, and I love to do both in public
I recently wrapped up a public personal experiment on building custom ChatGPTs that greatly impacted my life.
Here the highlights:
- Significantly improved my (meaningful) productivity.
- Equipped me with a set of AI tools and processes for various purposes.
- Inspired new ideas to reposition my Fixed to Flow project.
- Connected with professionals I admire.
- Sparked an idea for a new service for building GPTs for businesses and individuals.
- Prompted me to build frameworks to conceptualize and manage GPTs — or any other AI assistant or agent.
- Generated business leads.
- Led to an interview at Ness Labs (not published yet), which was the trigger to reflect on the importance of being more vocal about the benefits of personal experiments,
There is a simple rule in life: double down on what works.
Personal experiments work for me, and the last one focused on AI was particularly successful. So, I decided to explore AI and personal experiments further.
The AI Adaptability Experiment
I'm committed to achieving at least three of these five initiatives in the next 100 days:
- Launch the Adaptability Partner V2 – access the current version here.
- Create a system to streamline the creation of personalized Adaptability Partners.
- Create a Personal Experiments Notion Template.
- Conceptualize and teach a GPTs-building workshop.
- Create a LangFlow application.
I invited some friends to be my accountability buddies on this journey — one per initiative. Building in public by itself creates accountability, but an accountability buddy makes all the difference.
Below are details on each initiative. But first, some context on why I'm pursuing multiple initiatives.
If you've ever tried juggling many things, you might think I'm proposing to do too much. And most of the time, you'd be right.  On top of that, five initiatives in one experiment challenge the conventional rules of controlled experimentation. But my neurodiverse brain loves handling multiple projects (1). 🤓
I keep things exciting by managing a variety of projects. This mix keeps me from getting bored and ensures constant newness. In this experiment, the best part is how these initiatives connect and support each other, creating a well-rounded ecosystem for learning and growth.
And then there is how all is aligned with the bigger picture... One of the things that brings me more joy in life is to help people grow while growing alongside them. I'm building Fixed to Flow to empower people to grow by amplifying their adaptability. My word for this year is "commit," and one of my goals for the year is to create and share tools like the Adaptability Partner. This shows how my passion translates into my work, exactly what I “preach” to my mentees. All of this is backed by habits, routines, and rituals that make the system work. In the end, it’s all connected
That said, if you’re new to personal experiments start with a small experiment and with time you’ll learn what works best for you.
Bottom line: design your personal experiments to be aligned with who you are and what moves you, and everything will flow better. (1) Do not mistake this for multitasking; I don’t switch tasks every five minutes but love working on multiple projects daily.
Adaptability Partner V2
In my last public experiment, I created the first version of the Adaptability Partner, but there's significant room for improvement.
The objective now is to improve it 10x.
To achieve this, I need to be a curator, a creator, and an operator:
- Curator of valuable content sources about adaptability and integrating valuable feedback.
- Creator of my content, directly related to my Fixed to Flow project.
- Operator to improve the GPT's functionality.
The update will be incremental, and you’ll be able to see its progress. ___________________ 🤝 Accountability buddy: Pedro Oliveira, CEO at Talent Protocol.
Adaptability Partner — Personalized
It surprises me that most productivity experts aren't embracing AI or sharing how they use it.
I can't imagine helping someone create a personal system without considering a personalized AI Assistant.
I've already done some work in this area. Still, I want to create a comprehensive end-to-end system that goes from understanding what drives a person to implementing a solution customized to their needs and expectations.
Needless to say, this process also apply to businesses with some adjustments.

GPTs-Building Workshop
Recently, a friend invited me to conduct a workshop on building GPTs for his team after learning about my latest experiment. While this wasn't initially part of my plan, it aligns perfectly with my ongoing work.
Helping people learn is deeply connected with what moves me. Moreover, teaching is one of the best ways to enhance my knowledge and refine my skills.
This workshop will be a hands-on, immersive experience designed to teach participants how to create, customize, and leverage GPTs for their specific needs.
Given its potential, this initiative might evolve into a service I offer in the future.

Personal Experiments Notion Template
I want to spread the word about personal experiments by removing friction, preventing people from running their first experiment.
As a Notion Ambassador, creating a Notion template is the logical next step, as Notion is my go-to productivity tool. However, this template will be easily adaptable to any tool you choose.
I've already begun working on the template, but it still needs testing and refinement before it can be released to a broader audience.

LangFlow VectorShift Application (Done)
As mentioned, I want to continue my AI exploration and go deeper. For that, in my network, there is a recommendation that I keep hearing over and over: LangFlow. It’s time to test it by myself. I don’t know yet what I will build, but it needs to be a functional prototype. If you don’t know what LangFlow is, the official description does a great job of explaining its value:
“LangFlow is a GUI for LangChain, designed with react-flow to provide an effortless way to experiment and prototype flows with drag-and-drop components and a chat box. It allows users to drag sidebar components onto the canvas and connect them to create pipelines. LangFlow supports a variety of LangChain components, including large language models (LLMs), prompt serializers, agents, and chains.”
